The Morsen Evolution

We are the culmination of over 35 years’ experience, and two experts in their fields merging to provide a high-end solution benefitting the medical community.

Purchasing major medical imaging equipment, such as an MRI scanner or X-ray machine, doesn’t happen very often. As a result, not many healthcare businesses know what to budget for, what to organise, or what to look out for when managing a project of this nature on their own.

Morsen was born out of this scarcity of knowledge and experience – and the delays and frustrations we could see occurring due to multiple parties and inexperienced contractors being involved.

In 2011, our founders Jon Morgan and David van Dorssen went into business together, forming Inline Support Systems. In doing so, they brought three separate businesses under one roof to service hospitals and medical imaging rooms around Australia and New Zealand. Jon applied his builder’s skills and experience to the construction side; David, who had been installing medical equipment for over a decade, managed the installation side.

Over the years, Inline Support Systems invested in people, infrastructure and systems, expanded its offering and came to specialise in complete turnkey projects for the medical imaging industry.

In 2018, Inline Support Systems became Morsen; a name, derived from our two founders, that represents our total, combined solution as well as our strength in solidarity.

Our Promise

We promise to help our customers simplify and clarify

Reducing time, costs, resources - and taking away the unknowns - is what we continue to focus on for our clients. We know we can deliver on this promise, which is why we’re not shy about declaring it.

We’ve built our reputation not only on consistent quality workmanship and a thorough understanding of the clinical environment but also on making the whole process of buying, accommodating and installing medical equipment easier and more transparent. This is what our turnkey project solution is built for.

Our Team

The Morsen team is made up of over 20 people nationally. Our people are knowledgeable, meticulous and considerate; they’ve been extensively trained in our quality control system, as well as our safety management and environmental management systems, which are tailor-made for the clinical environment.

JON MORGAN

Director, Construction

A builder by trade, Jon has over 20 years of industry experience. Prior to establishing Inline Support Systems, he successfully ran his own construction company J A Morgan Construction. Since 2011, Jon has been focused solely on projects in the healthcare industry. He has built up a wealth of expertise, delivering multi-million-dollar projects on time and budget. Jon leads Morsen’s building works and turnkey projects. He holds Builder’s licenses in NSW, QLD and the ACT.

DAVID VAN DORSSEN

Director, Installation

David is recognised as an industry leader for his in-depth knowledge of the clinical space and the equipment being dealt with. He holds an ACRS master cabling license and has been installing medical equipment for almost 20 years, first as an independent contractor and then under the banner of his own business, Australian Medical Installations. David has direct oversight on all of Morsen’s installations.

Our advice is accurate and optimal, based on years of experience and refinement, so you get the most functional and cost-effective imaging system possible – and you get it on time, on budget, with no backtracking due to errors in judgement.

Premium quality, true specialists

Morsen staff are experienced in every aspect of project delivery for medical imaging equipment. This is our core business. Our clients appreciate that when they’re dealing with us, they’re dealing with true specialists.

Standards guaranteed

We apply the same rigorous standards from one project to another nationwide, meaning our work is always guaranteed to be of the same industry-leading quality we’ve become known for.

Reduced workload for project managers

Having Morsen manage your entire project means you’re not spending time dealing with enquiries and issues from multiple contractors. We take care of contractor liaison, warehousing and transport, allowing you to get on with your own work.

Complete transparency

Throughout each project, Morsen provides either daily or weekly updates for stakeholders, as agreed. You and your staff will have a clear understanding of what’s happening and when, so you can plan your work accordingly.

A single point of contact

We provide you with a single point of contact, which means you have one dedicated person with complete oversight on the entire project. This person coordinates the schedule of works and manages the timeline and budget on your behalf, keeping you regularly updated on progress and responding to any issues as they arise.

Simplified billing

Our simplified process extends all the way to our billing. Capital equipment projects typically involve multiple entities. By providing a complete solution, Morsen significantly reduces the administrative work it usually takes to engage and pay multiple service providers and suppliers. You’ll receive a payment schedule upfront and will only ever have to deal with us.
